The river in Autumn

As the seasons change, so the appearance of the river and its surroundings also changes; but whatever the time of year there are always wonderful things to see. Here are a few of the pictures we’ve taken in the last couple of months…
The weir in autumn. As rainfall increases, so the water level tends to rise in the colder months.
Wild blackberries, some ripe for the picking, some still needing another week.
The rec bridge on Halloween night. No spooks and spectres visible yet!
Waterside in November. The leaves are gradually turning as the year fades.
