Cale Kingfisher on Display

This weekend, our resident kingfisher in the Recreation Ground put in some noticeable appearances, and we are lucky enough to be able to present both a professional-quality photograph, and some video footage, both taken within the Recreation Ground right here in Wincanton. The photo is by kind permission of Simon Lewis of Digital Wolf Photography, who captured several pictures of Wincanton wildlife this weekend in the park. The video was taken by our own CATCH committee member Steve Lee. Both have now been added to our page here, which gives a brief overview of the kingfisher and some background information about the species.
